So it is Greek food. Nothing mind blowing, nothing that will make you visit this place once a week. But if you are craving a gyro, you can buy one here.

The food was alright, the service is what made up for a full 5 stars.

My fav place for tasty greek food. Entered near nine, it wasn't busy. The staff was sociable and attentive. Prices were average for the menu. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I loved.

I love eating at the Greek Shack.I typically order a lamb gyro and some dolmas as a side.On wednesdays they have a special and gyros are only $5.99!A nice casual spot to catch lunch.

The gyros are great, but the price is steep

This place is truly just a shack, but the Gyros are very good. I get take out for my husband and myself at least once a week and this place is easier in our top three choices. We get the lamb. It's a generous portion atop crisp Romain, served in a warm pita with a cucumber yogurt sauce. Hint, go on Wednesday when gyros are $5.99!

Like LAMB? Then you'll love these GYROS! (They also do chicken and VEGAN). And CLEAN - there isn't a cleaner restaurant on the planet. The plates, the sides & the desserts are equally delicious. This place is a gem, truly, and is on our "out-of-town" guest list. PS. Most of the day there's shade for your car just up the side street the Shack sits beside, Rockabye Lane.

It's always the hole in the wall places that blow your mind. It was pricier, but SO worth it. We haven't been to a decent greek place since we left Georgia 3 years ago and we found one on our day trip to Redding.

Cheap, delicious Greek food. It is indeed a tiny shack. Only 4 tables or so outside.

Lamb gyro is unreal.

The lamb gyro is to die for and Wednesdays they knock $4 off the price for Gyros so you can get a gyro for five bucks it's a great place to go to get some really good Greek food and it's authentic the lady that works here is always very nice very polite never rude never has an attitude I would suggest getting a bunch of co-workers together to pitch in and go down on a Wednesday and buy Gyros for everybody at work you can't go wrong with slow cooked lamb

Gyros for $9, salads for $6, soda for $2Good amount of food and good flavors. The Greek salad was on the saltier side but still very good. Had outdoor seating only. A small but fairly clean bathroom with key access.

Good food but for the price I feel it's hard to justify. Worth trying and giving it your own opinion though definitely.

Best gyros in town

The food is really good but I'm critical of the value here. It's $9 for a gyro or falafel by itself. I think for that price you should get a side like some fries or a bit more to eat in the sandwich itself.

Delicious & fresh food had the falafel wrap crunchy and flavorful, it definately feels homemade not to mention the wonderful server very kind & welcoming. Will definately be returning :)

Really great gyros. A little heavy on the lettuce in my opinion, but still tasty. Definitely go with the lamb!

Small little shack serving gyros along the side of the road. One of those hole in the wall joints. Pleasant & simple experience, gyro wasn’t anything special. They have a restroom if in need.

Always plenty of meat and the food taste awesome every time. Good for a quick stop. Make sure to try the spinach pie. Perfectly flaky crust.

Had the lamb gyro!! Yummmmm!! Huge portions of perfectly cooked lamb, the texture was perfect not stringy feeling. I went to Anthony's and didn't like their lamb texture as much as the Greek shack, yall got it going On!! Greek shack had 2×the lamb and stuffed with veggies. The cream sauce was excellent also. The spinach fluffy crousaint was also amazing, that GYRO tho!! A++++ I was full, and a good full. Clean and tasty. New place when i go to redding during the day!!

Don't remember too much about this place but I think this is the place who didn't have all the breads they offer or all the meats they have on the menu. It was a little disappointing to eat a sandwich that I wasn't wanting.

Phenomenal Gyros and if you go on Wednesday, they are only $6!!! I'm from the east eoast and this schsck reminds me of the gyros I've gotten in new new York!

Finally got to try this place! I've been dreaming about gyros for 5 years now since I moved up north! Absolutely amazing food!

Surprisingly great. Thought we'd give it a try since we live near it and weren't disappointed. A little more costly than anticipated but delicious. The lady was super nice and helpful and fast. Even gave us samples. Will go back for sure if we get a greek craving.

I'm on holiday vacation and there's only fast food joins in the area, so I found Deli Greek Shack and it was delicious. Also, clean and owner is friendly.. Thank you for the real food in the area. Also, don't be concerned with the prices, the portions are filling. Everyone is not into fast food joints..Thanks!
